WHO IS HOPE AT THE TABLE?
Hope (π€π€π€ π€ β Tiqvah β teek-VAH) at the Table is a place for the unheard and unseen, for those searching for truth, and for believers who desire deeper growth in God (π€π€π€ π€ β Eloah β eh-LO-ah β singular) and a deeper relationship with Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah), the Messiah (π€π€π€π€ β Mashiach β mah-SHEE-akh).
We are not a denomination or a replacement for local congregations and assemblies. We are a place to gather, learn, listen, share, and grow β pointing people to God (π€π€π€π€π€ β Elohim β eh-loh-HEEM β plural form), His Word (π€π€π€π€ β Devaro β deh-VAH-ro β His Word), and Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah), the Messiah (π€π€π€π€ β Mashiach β mah-SHEE-akh).
THE GOSPEL
The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ (Yahushua HaMashiach β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ π€π€π€π€π€, yah-hoo-SHOO-ah hah-mah-SHEE-akh).
God (Elohim β π€π€π€π€π€, eh-loh-HEEM) sent His Son into the world, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (Yahushua HaMashiach β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ π€π€π€π€π€, yah-hoo-SHOO-ah hah-mah-SHEE-akh), we receive forgiveness of sins and new life in Him.
βFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.β
John 3:16 β KJV
GROWING DEEPER
For believers, following Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah) is a lifelong journey of growing in faith, understanding His Word, walking in obedience, learning to hear and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodesh β π€π€ π€ π€π€π€π€ β roo-AKH hah-koh-DEHSH), and becoming more like Him.
βBut grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.β
2 Peter 3:18 β KJV
UNITY IN THE BODY
We believe the Body of Messiah (π€π€π€π€ β Mashiach β mah-SHEE-akh) is called to walk in oneness and unity. Though believers come from different nations, cultures, traditions, and congregations, our unity is found in God (Elohim β π€π€π€π€π€ β eh-loh-HEEM), His Word, and Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah), the Messiah.
Unity does not require uniformity; it calls us to walk together in love and truth.
βThat they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.β
John 17:21 β KJV
THE GLOBAL CALLING
The Gospel is for the world. We seek to go beyond borders, cultures, languages, and traditions to reach those who desire to hear the good news of Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah), the Messiah (π€π€π€π€ β Mashiach β mah-SHEE-akh).
Wherever God (Elohim β π€π€π€π€π€ β eh-loh-HEEM) opens a door, we desire to goβspeaking the truth of His Word and sharing the hope we have found in Him.
βGo ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.β
Mark 16:15 β KJV
HIS CREATION
God (π€π€π€π€π€ β Elohim β eh-loh-HEEM) created all things for His glory and entrusted us with the responsibility to care for what He has made. When we pause to behold His creation, we are reminded of the Creator.
He created.
We behold.
We give thanks.
We praise.
We steward what He has entrusted to us.
βThe heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.β
Psalm 19:1 β KJV

To see creation is to be reminded of the Creator.
He created. We behold. We give thanks. We praise. We steward what He has entrusted to us.
GROWING DEEPER
For believers, following Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah) is a lifelong journey of growing deeper in faith (π€π€π€ π€π€ β Emunah β eh-moo-NAH) β steadfast trust and faithfulness toward God (Elohim β π€π€π€π€π€ β eh-loh-HEEM).
It is learning to surrender ourselves to Him, trust His Word, walk in obedience, and allow the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodesh β π€π€ π€ π€π€π€π€ β roo-AKH hah-koh-DEHSH) to lead and guide our lives.
Faith is not merely what we believe; it becomes evident in how we live, how we walk, and how we follow Him.
βBut grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.β
2 Peter 3:18 β KJV
Why We Use Paleo-Hebrew
Throughout Hope at the Table, you will see key biblical words presented in Paleo-Hebrew alongside their transliteration, pronunciation, and English meaning. We use these terms as a way of drawing attention to the language and meaning found within Scripture, while helping others learn and grow in their understanding of Godβs Word (π€π€π€π€π€ π€π€π€π€π€ β Dvarim Elohim β deh-vah-REEM eh-loh-HEEM β Godβs Word)..
This is also part of the founderβs own journey. As God (Eloah β π€π€π€ π€ β eh-LO-ah) continues to draw him closer, he continues to seek Him more deeplyβlearning to listen, follow, and be led by the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodesh β π€π€ π€ π€π€π€π€ β roo-AKH hah-koh-DEHSH). This is an ongoing journey of surrender, obedience, learning, and growing deeper in relationship with Him.
Our desire is not to create division over language or tradition, but to encourage deeper study, greater understanding, and a closer walk with God (Elohim β π€π€π€π€π€ β eh-loh-HEEM).
THE TABLE
At the table, every story matters. We make room for the unheard, the unseen, the searching, and those who simply need a place to be heard. This is a place for honest stories, questions, testimony, encouragement, prayer, and fellowship β without judgment and without pretending that life is easy.
βThe LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his nameβs sake.β
Psalm 23:1β3 β KJV
PRAYER
Prayer is where we come before God (Eloah β π€π€π€ π€ β eh-LO-ah) with humility, trust, and surrender. We pray not only for ourselves, but for othersβbringing their needs, burdens, families, communities, and circumstances before Him.
βPray without ceasing.β
1 Thessalonians 5:17 β KJV
COME TO THE TABLE
Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah) is at the table. He invites us to willingly choose Him, trust Him, and follow Him.
As we surrender ourselves to Him and seek Him more deeply, He draws us nearer, teaches us to trust Him, and leads us according to His purpose for our lives. In Him, we find forgiveness, protection, hope, and the promise of eternal life.
Hope at the Table is an invitation to come, listen, learn, share, and grow. It is a place for the searching, the unheard, the unseen, and believers who desire to go deeper in their relationship and oneness with God (Elohim β π€π€π€π€π€ β eh-loh-HEEM).
Our calling reaches beyond borders: to share the Gospel, listen to people’s stories, and point them to Jesus (Yahushua β π€π€π€ π€π€ π€ β yah-hoo-SHOO-ah) wherever God (Eloah β π€π€π€ π€ β eh-LO-ah) opens the door. opens the door.
βDraw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.β
James 4:8 β KJV
